After bursting onto the scene with his long shot challenge to Hillary Clinton in 2016, Sanders became a household name. And as he battles for space amongst Democrat frontrunner Joe Biden, he has increasingly attacked President Trump’s trade policy -- which recently successfully pushed Mexico to crack down on illegal border crossings into the U.S. -- and even went as far as to deny that our southern border is in a crisis and calling Trump a racist.
