America’s turbulent political climate has seen a spike in violence recently.

Although their role in this political violence has been largely downplayed or ignored by elements of the media, radical leftist group AntiFa – who see themselves as “anti-fascists – have been among the most aggressive factions engaged in physical political conflicts.

Recently, an avowed AntiFa member attacked an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facility in Washington State, hurling incendiary devices and attempting to burn the building down by puncturing its propane tank.

The AntiFa radical was also armed with a rifle, and was killed by police.

In the wake of the attack, Seattle Antifascist Action praised the violence in a post on Facebook, saying “When our good friend and comrade Willem Van Spronsen took a stand against the fascist detention center in Tacoma, he became a martyr who gave his life to the struggle against fascism. He was kind and deeply loved by many communities; we cannot let his death go unanswered.

Throughout history we idolize figures like John Brown for their courage to take the ultimate stand against oppression, and today we stand strong in our support for yet another martyr in the struggle against fascism. May his death serve as a call to protest and direct action.”

As American Patriot Daily continues our coverage of the pressing issues facing our country today, we would like to know your opinion on whether or not AntiFa should be classified as a terrorist organization for their use of violence?
