News has broke that long-serving (and long-suffering) White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders will be leaving her position at the end of the month.

For three and a half years, Sanders was on the frontlines of the often adversarial relationship between the Trump White House and the notoriously liberal White House press corps, who frequently questioned her integrity and honesty.

In addition to fending off attacks on her character from the liberal media, Hollywood and the entertainment media often cruelly derided her looks and appearance.

Sanders has stated she will be returning to her home state of Arkansas to spend more time with her family.

Reacting to news of her pending departure, President Trump took to Twitter to express his well wishes for Sanders, stating . “After 3 1/2 years, our wonderful Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be leaving the White House at the end of the month and going home to the Great State of Arkansas She is a very special person with extraordinary talents, who has done an incredible job! I hope she decides to run for Governor of Arkansas - she would be fantastic. Sarah, thank you for a job well done!”
